Laboratory of Microsensor Structure and Electronics (LMSE), Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana was established in 1987 with the mission of education and implementation of applied research in the field of microsystems (MEMS). LMSE offers research from the theoretical analysis to the development of advanced microsensors and microactuators, including support for smart system solutions. MEMS processes include deep and surface, dry and wet, isotropic and anisotropic micromachining, chemical and adhesive bonding, soft lithography, plasma and chemical surface treatments, technology Lab-on-a-chip and other auxiliary MEMS technology. LMSE has established strong cooperation with laboratories and industrial partners worldwide.
